About

Welcome to my digital garden, a place I publish my notes. I also have a blog

  • I'm currently working as a Senior Cloud Engineer at 3M. Before that, I was at Accenture for about 10 years.

  • I also love Wardley Maps - they've saved me headaches. Short 90-second intro: https://learnwardleymapping.com/

  • My background is in building API-based backend systems and Systems Integration - the majority has been Java. Now my work spans being a Scrum Master, building Serverless applications, and taking care of build and deployment environments. I'm now content with any programming language as long it's suits the job and it gets the job done.

  • I've also worked as a Software Architect and love architecture. And can never forget a principle drilled into us:

Clients don't buy architecture. Clients want value, by their definition of value. What clients are buying are business capabilities (people, processes, tools, organisations). And the value comes from those capabilities they'll build and not from the architecture you're giving them.—Accenture's Ezio Armando
